I do the ten-day safety course for seafarers in the private school for ship safety in Sassnitz. In addition to me and Silas, three other guys from the surrounding area take part in the course of Maik, our course instructor. Contrary to my expectations, I am the youngest in the room. In addition to the theoretical part, which is largely very interesting, sometimes also long-winded though, there is also a practical part in which we deal with rescue equipment and fire defense. All in all, Maik also teaches the boring parts well and the whole course is very fun.
